Framlingham College Sixth Form
The 200 or so pupils within Framlingham College Sixth Form – including the intake of 25-35 new pupils in Year 12 – can expect to experience an exciting period of transition.
Subject specialisation, an increase in responsibilities, and the exploration of – and decisions about – life beyond school are all on the agenda. And yet this time is also about freedom of choice, self-development and discovery, and about every individual finding (or starting to find) their place in the world.
Introducing Head of Sixth Form (September 2020)
We are extremely excited about the arrival of Alex Boyd-Williams as our Head of Sixth Form from September 2020.
Supporting your child at Sixth Form
We encourage every Sixth Former to maintain some diversity within their A Level subject choices, and to complete an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) involving a comprehensive piece of research.
Every pupil has a Personal Tutor to support them and monitor their progress – both academically and socially. The Tutor will promote a commitment to high standards of work, while also suggesting participation in our diverse enrichment programme. Tutors also offer advice about, and assist with applications for, higher education and careers.
Whatever choices the pupil makes, at Framlingham College Sixth Form we aim to have instilled the attitudes and habits they’ll need to approach life confidently and with resilience.
