Our holistic approach to education means that the activities, sports and events that take place beyond the classroom, are just as influential as the ones inside.

Sixth Form pupils have the opportunity to get involved in a vast range of co-curricular activities. Our superb sports programme, the Combined Cadet Force, the Duke of Edinburgh’s award scheme, Drama, Music, fund-raising and voluntary work all allow our Sixth Form to get involved, to contribute and to altruistically give their time to others.

Whether it’s learning to be part of a team, leading an activity, mentoring younger pupils, making the College more sustainable, or helping those less fortunate than themselves, the development of these Sixth Form characteristics enable our young people to develop skills and deepen their appreciation of the world around them.

One of my favourite activities was Combined Cadet Force. I had the chance to go to the field weekend. It was one of the most memorable moments I have had here. It was so much fun to spend time with friends, run, shoot, do a search in the forest and live like cadets.”
