Don’t give up I believe in you all. A person is a person no matter how small.”

Dr Seuss

To us, pastoral care and education is totally indivisible. Pastoral care goes beyond assemblies and PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic education); it’s intrinsically linked to everything we do in these early years of Pre-Prep.

From understanding what it means to share in Reception, to learning respect for others and navigating the tricky landscape of friendships into Year 2, we guide your child emotionally along the stepping stones they need to travel, before they enter the bigger universe of Lower and then Upper Prep; all the while, expanding their minds along the way.

We develop in all our children confidence, resilience and communication skills so that these young minds can deal with and find a positive way through the little and not-so-little hurdles that they encounter in life, helping them to grow and flourish.

Above all, we realise that by having a strong partnership with you, the parents, we can provide the utmost for your child’s education, helping them to be the best they can be. You can be assured that we are always on hand with help and resources to support you in this sometimes overwhelming, but also most wonderous time in your child’s life.

The FLOW Programme

The FLOW Programme at Framlingham has been devised to equip our pupils with the skills that they need to proactively process and manage the challenges that they will inevitably face, positively.

This graphic explains the five focus areas and the channels that the programme is delivered through.
