Kim grew up in Germany and joined Framlingham College in 1996. After leaving school, she studied International Business Administration in Mannheim, Germany, and Montpellier, France.

She went on to build a successful career in Mergers & Acquisitions and later became Head of Finance for one of Germany’s DAX 40 companies. More recently, Kim has pursued advanced academic specialisation in Leadership Psychology.

Alongside her professional work, Kim serves as a Board Member for several start-up companies and volunteers at the Academy of Art in Düsseldorf. As President of the Society of Old Framlinghamians, she is passionate about strengthening the connection between the College and its alumni community, helping to ensure that the values and traditions of Framlingham continue to thrive for future generations.

Kim joined the Governing Body in 2025.

Paul is Chief Executive Officer at Clays Ltd in Suffolk. He and his wife Louise have lived in Suffolk since 2010, and both their children attended Framlingham College.

Clays provides print and logistics services for the book trade and is a significant presence in the local economy, employing nearly a thousand people. Earlier in his career, Paul held a variety of senior operational roles at the John Lewis Partnership, specialising in supply chain and logistics.

As a local business leader and parent of two Old Framlinghamians, Paul brings valuable commercial, operational and financial experience, together with a strong understanding of the local community and the factors influencing families when choosing a school.

Paul joined the Governing Body in 2021.

Jude was born in Edinburgh but spent much of her childhood living overseas in Panama, Argentina and the Middle East before returning to the UK for her secondary education.

Her career has spanned both client and agency-side roles in advertising, branding and marketing. She has worked with leading advertising agencies and global brand consultancies, founded and successfully grew her own cosmetics business, and most recently held the position of Strategy Director at a multi-service agency.

Jude is currently Global Brand Director for a fast-growing technology company.

Living near Framlingham, Jude combines strategic marketing expertise with a strong understanding of the local community. She provides guidance and support to the College’s marketing, admissions and development activities, helping to strengthen awareness, engagement and pupil recruitment.

Jude joined the Governing Body in 2025.

David was educated at Brandeston Hall (known now as Framlingham College Prep School), Framlingham College Senior School and University College, Durham.

He trained and qualified as a solicitor with the London office of US law firm Paul Hastings LLP. In 2016, David moved to a global private equity investment firm with interests in real estate, structured finance and venture capital, where he serves as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer.

As an Old Framlinghamian and parent, David brings a strong understanding of the College community alongside extensive legal and commercial experience. His knowledge of the College, its estate and its operations supports effective oversight of the College’s governance, compliance and long-term development.

David joined the Governing Body in 2019.

A special educational needs specialist and former SENCO at Orwell Park School, Lucy joined the Governing Body in 2014.

Throughout her career, Lucy has worked closely with children and families, supporting a wide range of learning needs and helping young people to fulfil their potential. Her extensive educational experience provides valuable insight into the pastoral, academic and safeguarding responsibilities of the College.

Lucy is known for her thoughtful and compassionate approach, bringing both expertise and perspective to discussions around pupil wellbeing, learning support and educational provision.

Lucy joined the Governing Body in 2014.

Simon grew up in Suffolk before studying medicine and joining the Royal Navy, where he trained in underwater medicine and anaesthetics and served during the first Gulf War.

Following a period in Western Australia with his family, Simon returned to Suffolk, where he spent nearly 25 years working as a GP. He is now a visiting doctor on Hoy in the Orkneys.

Alongside his medical career, Simon has maintained a strong interest in education and innovation. He is an honorary senior lecturer at Norwich Medical School and Digital Health Lead for the undergraduate curriculum. His enthusiasm for learning, emerging technologies and the future of education brings a valuable perspective to the College’s strategic thinking.

Simon joined the Governing Body in 2017.
