This half term has seen Mr Goldsmith’s Year 10 English class involved in a project linked to their study of Stevenson’s ‘Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’.

Having already read the text, the Year 10s were tasked with having to edit, adapt and rehearse two chapters of the novel for radio performance. Then, in front of a recording desk, they donned headphones and arranged their microphones and worked as voice actors to bring the chapters alive. The work is still not quite over as they will now edit the files and add some sound effects and incidental music. It’s been a lot of fun – and great revision too!
