The U13 Boys had a fantastic day at the Regional Hockey Finals yesterday, playing against some of the best hockey schools in the country.
The team started well with wins over King’s College Cambridge (3-0), Parkside School (Surrey) 3-0, Ashfold School (Buckinghamshire) 2-0 and a dramatic 1-1 draw against Foremarke Hall (Derbyshire).

This set up an exciting quarter-final with a strong Winchester House side (Buckinghamshire), which Framlingham won 1-0.  In the semi-finals the team played eventual winners St Faith’s (Cambridge) who ran out 2-1 winners in a fabulous match.   In the 3rd/4th play off match, the U13 boys once more faced Foremarke Hall and finished the day with an excellent 2-0 victory, taking home the Bronze medal.

Head of Hockey Jamie Kingstone said, “This is another fabulous day for hockey at Framlingham College. This group of talented young players are a hugely exciting prospect for the school at a time when there are incredibly exciting developments to our hockey programme. We look forward to the challenge of the Nationals next week.”
