The U11 and U13 boys enjoyed a super tour of the Midlands this weekend. The U11s travelled to Warwick School and had a fantastic time at the Warwick Festival winning each of their four matches and having the thrill of meeting England and British Lions legend Martin Johnson. The U13s travelled to Bilton Grange and came up against a good Bilton side, who were strong on the pitch and exceptionally good hosts.

After a night at our youth hostel in Stratford, it was off to the Rugby Hall of Fame (in Rugby) which was a fabulous experience. We just had time to stop at Rugby School, to see the pitch where it is believed William Webb Ellis “picked up the ball and ran” way back in 1823!

From Rugby, it was off to Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, a club with strong links with Framlingham, where we watched a titanic battle between Bury and Tonbridge Juddians with Juddians just edging it.

The boys were in great spirits throughout the weekend and were a pleasure to take away. Well done boys.
