On Friday afternoon, the U11 and U13 boys hockey players headed to Canterbury for their annual hockey tour. They played Kent College on Friday afternoon. The U11’s came up against a very good team and lost, whilst the U13’s had a very entertaining match and despite lots of chances, ended up drawing 1-1. The next morning they went bowling in Ashford where they met up with the girls’ netball squads. In the afternoon, the games against Junior King’s Canterbury finished with the U13’s winning 6-3 and the U11’s coming back from 3-0 down to lose 5-3. The journey home was via Sevenoaks Hockey Club where the boys saw them play top of the table Premier League side Surbiton. All the boys were a credit to the school, their behaviour both on and off the field was impeccable and they should feel very proud of how they represented the school over the weekend.
