Dr Ray Hoole, our guest speaker, delivered a fascinating lecture to our Lower Sixth English Literature students.
The pupils were first given an insight into the creation process of the First Folio as Dr Hoole explained 16th century printing techniques before, amongst other aspects, exploring the subplot of ‘Twelfth Night’ with the aid of some wonderful video clips of Nigel Hawthorne as Malvolio.
Our thanks go to Dr Hoole whose depth of knowledge is always a real boon for our pupils.
