On Monday night Framlingham College played host to a hugely enjoyable and competitive swimming gala. With Finborough, OBH, Holmwood and two teams from FCPS competing it was a noisy but exciting event.
There were some great performances on the night including 50 new times or PBs set and 6 records broken. Special mention to Sam Jackson and George Adams who shaved milliseconds off their times to set new records.
Due to some illness we had a handful of relay teams made up of 3 swimmers, so credit goes to all of them for their teamwork. Also credit must go to our U9C swimmers who swam alongside OBH.
The final results were:
Fram A – 149
Holmwood – 119
Finborough – 117
OBH (with Fram C U9 swimmers) 81
Fram B – 81
Swimming may be considered an individual event but Monday evening really showed how inter-school galas can create great team spirit.
