Once again the College was invited to the prestigious Students’ League of Nations conference hosted by the International School of Geneva on Monday and Tuesday this week, and eight Year 12 students took part in impressive fashion.

The conference is held in the Palais des Nations, the official premises of the United Nations in Geneva, which is an imposing place just to visit, never mind to speak in. Tom Addison, Lucy Darrington, Maddie Gladwell, Freddie Green, Maria Lepik, Ellie Mayall, Ellen Stenflo and Lexi Taylor stepped up to the challenge with relish, listening carefully to the detailed and lengthy debates, and speaking with authority and in an informed manner when the opportunity presented itself.

It is an unusual and remarkable experience to be part of, and the students were a credit to the College in the way they approached it.
