Last week, Will Graver, Emily Lewis and Lily Woodruff represented the College in the regional finals of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Young Analyst competition, hosted by the University of East Anglia in Norwich.

The students were given three complex experimental tasks to carry out, requiring them to work effectively as a team and to put to good use the skills they have developed this year in their Chemistry lessons. Although they didn’t win the competition, they worked with considerable skill to complete the tasks successfully.

Dr Richard Higgins said, ‘They were enthusiastic and determined in their approach, and their positive and resilient attitude was admirable – They did the College proud!’
