On Wednesday 14th June, Bailey Farrant, Theo Salsby and Niall Pearson-Shaul were invited to The Voyager Academy in Peterborough to take part in the Regional Final of the Translation Bee competition, a very important event in languages.
More than 7000 pupils across the country were enrolled in the Translation Bee competition. The language department of Framlingham College held a competition across all Year 9 French sets. Bailey, Theo and Niall were the winners and had the privilege of being one of the regional finalists that were invited to Peterborough
On the day, they had to translate as many sentences as possible from English to French in just a minute, facing a crowd of pupils, teachers and parents. They did very well, both in their performance and facing the pressure. Framlingham College was proud to be represented at this event by Bailey, Theo and Niall. Bravo!
