The RAF cadets I took were absolutely fantastic – and they got a massive thank you from Sqn Ldr Bradshaw at the awards ceremony yesterday. They worked incredibly hard over both days (and very cold days they were!), doing a multitude of things such as running scores to the scoring office, loading air rifle pellets, scoring the cards, playing medical casualties (particularly gruesome and very realistic wounds!!), helping score the aircraft recognition competition – and many, many more.

They also managed to grab a little time to experience the STEM activities running such as operating a WW2 era bofors gun and finding out about the introduction and development of radar.

They were:
Sgt Niall Pearson-Shaull.
Cadets: Carmen Kardan, Bela Reader, Belle Connell, Lara Hallmann, Bruce Daniels, Aidan Swartz and Ming Ho Tse.
