Saturday 24th June saw a much anticipated Sports day at Framlingham College Prep School. With nine national athletes taking part and every boy and girl in school representing their houses we were guaranteed an exciting morning’s sport.

Records tumbled left right and centre and incuded Will Lamprell U13 200m, Mabhir Mahmud U14 300m, Archie Shelly-Taylor U13 Discus, Emma Williamson U13 hurdles, Freya Drury and Jasper Marvell U9 150m and the Constable U12 Girls relay team.

The trophies were presented by Mrs Sheepshanks and Mrs Cockle and the icing on the cake was the return of OF Tosin Oguntayo, who presented the long jump trophy. Tosin still holds the U10 high jump and U14 long jump records dating back to 1984 and 1988 respectively.

Overall winners this year were Britten who just pipped Wolsey by 6 points.

Well done to everyone who contributed to wonderful supportive atmosphere and to all the athletes who took part.
