Pupils from Year 8, 9 and 13 joined forces to take on the annual Maths Team Challenge which is held each Spring Term.

The challenge saw pupils split into 10 teams and work through four rounds: the Group Round, the Shuttle Round, the Cross Number Round, and firm favourite, the Relay Round.

Our Year 13 mathematicians were also in attendance to oversee proceedings, invigilate, mark, and motivate.

The Maths Team Challenge is a wonderful demonstration of our pupils’ mathematical abilities, and a chance to practise problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

In the end, it was Team 4 – Alex S (Y9), George R (Y8), Erik K (Y13), Seb D (Y8), and Rosie A (Y9) – who took the winning title.
