Framlingham College pupil, Poppy Mayall, age 15, was selected to represent English Schools’ Swimming Association in The Exiles ASA International Water Polo Tournament in Malta at the end of October.

Poppy was a key member of the team that won every match in the tournament to claim the Duke of Cambridge Cup.

The ESSA works in conjunction with the English Water Polo Management Group to direct and encourage young players onto the pathway for further International representation.

Framlingham College Headmaster, Paul Taylor said, “Poppy is a hugely promising young sportswoman who has added significant on-going discipline, commitment and sheer hard work to her very considerable talent, and we are so pleased to see her efforts being recognised and rewarded in this way.”
