In the past week, Year Six have been working in mixed ability groups to undertake a series of problem-solving activities in maths. Pupils were encouraged to create their own maths-related group passport and then travel round the world solving a set of puzzles from different parts of the globe. These have included puzzles from Benin, tangrams from China and building pyramids in Egypt.

All the groups have shown real determination and encouragement for each other. Each successful challenge has earned the team extra time in the domino maze at the end of the challenge. Well done to all the pupils for their commitment and enthusiasm.
