Last year 144 pupils from Framlingham College were awarded a Duke of Edinburgh’s badge at Bronze, Silver or Gold Level.  This put the school 15th in the entire Country, and 5th overall per Capita.

India Ball’s Gold was signed off on the 2nd April 2019 making her the first of the 2019/2020 crop. She was presented with her certificate at St James’ Palace on 1st October and we are very proud of her.

India took part in a wide variety of activities on her journey to Gold.  This included volunteering to coach swimming for two years at the local pool and undertaking a 5 day residential adventure challenge and team building course at Sayers Croft in Surrey.

Already this year over 130 pupils have had their awards signed off and, with 6 months still to go, Framlingham College is keen to enhance it’s reputation further and give the massive schools of 1000+ pupils a ‘run for their money’ and inch ever closer to the top position in the UK.

Congratulations to all other OFs in attendance who disappeared before the photo, we look forward to hearing their accounts soon.
