An art trip on the 4th July to NUA (Norwich University of the Arts) for our young artists provided inspiration for all. Students got to ask questions to past and present students of the University from different disciplines and find out what careers are open to artists. We got to explore the degree shows of Illustration, Fine Art, Photography, Games Design, Fashion Design, Fashion communication, Architecture and Animation. As well as wondering at the work on show we got to glimpse inside the studios to obtain a taster of life at art school. Former Framlingham College student Katie Holmes (Pembroke 2010 – 2015) completed her degree in BA (Hons) ‘Design for publishing’ and it was a privilege to see her work for a Noughts and Crosses Book Cover Redesign; intended to project the topics of love, racism and terrorism discussed within the books.
