Music Scholars from the Prep and Senior schools went to hear the world famous, multi Grammy award-winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo on Friday 18th May, at The Apex, Bury St Edmunds.
From start to finish, this was a stunning performance, which left all of us feeling inspired, enthused and in awe of their musicianship. The music was incredibly honest, and all of the students and staff were moved by the integrity of each singer. Joyful humour also laced the evening, along with energetic dancing and incredibly high kicking (even from the oldest member of the choir, who is 70!)
This was an incredible evening and was a great final outing for this year’s Scholars’ Programme. We look forward to the many new offerings that next year will bring.
