Year 13 pupil Harry Rowland (G) continues to make waves in the rugby world on and off the pitch.

Building on his successful 2018 season representing Denmark U18s at XVs and 7s, he has just returned from Sweden having captained the undefeated Denmark U19s 7s at the Gothenburg Tournament. His international season continues with selection for the forthcoming 7s tournaments in Bologna, Italy in June and Krakow, Poland in September. He has also been selected to represent Denmark in the HSBC World Series Dubai Emirates 7s International Invitational in December.

Off the pitch, Harry’s dedication and passion for the game is clearly evident. He is  a “Young Rugby Ambassador” and a qualified referee. Last month his contribution to the local rugby community was acknowledged when he received an England Rugby “Valued Volunteer” award for his services to refereeing. The award was presented by Roger Pierson, Eastern Counties Ruby Union Hon. Sec. and RFU Council Representative.
