Framlingham College hosted a hugely successful Well-being for Parents event on Thursday night, with over 300 guests from both the College and surrounding junior and senior schools attending.
Claire Kelly, Director of the Mindfulness in Schools Project, and Hazel Harrison, OF and clinical psychologist, spoke to a sell-out audience in the theatre about the pressures our young people face in today’s world and offered tips on how parents can get alongside their children and help to build happiness and resilience.
Hazel’s message was particularly refreshing, recognising that parents cannot always be “perfect parents”, suggesting that when we do get it wrong, our responses to that can be equally as helpful.
