On Friday, 11 May we celebrated our catering assistant Janice Moore achieving 40 years of service at the College.
Colleagues met to celebrate with tea and cake and The Headmaster gave a brief history of the changes that have occurred since Janice started in 1978. She was presented with flowers and a long-service award.
Janice joined the College as a catering assistant on 12th May 1978 aged 16 years and 5 months and has been a loyal member of the team ever since. She is now the longest serving member of staff at the College.
Janice has cycled to and from work to her family home in Dennington every day, 5 days a week for 40 years and has amassed over 47,000 miles, or nearly twice the circumference of Earth!
