On Monday September 16th there was a social and supper evening for the new international pupils at the senior school. At the social, a group of eight international sixth formers (including some international student reps) chatted to our new intake of international pupils about their experiences of studying and boarding here at Framlingham, offering some sound, friendly advice.

The topics discussed included: how international pupils can make the most of their time here at the College; accessing and utilising the wide range of resources and activities; the potential differences in learning and teaching approaches and styles they may face; ideas for cultural and weekend events; the role of the international reps and peer mentors in each boarding house; and coping with homesickness.

The pupils – from 10 different countries – then went on to have supper together in the cafe.

Thank you to Alina, Yee Man, Gaby, Jevons, Isabelle, Osato, Faye and Nic for helping with this enjoyable event!
