The water at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy was like Bermuda with the sun sparking across the sound and a fresh breeze. There was a large fleet of 50 boats from prep schools across the country.

The Year 8 veterans Henry Jackson and George Pearl performed consistently well with a 5th and 7th place. Unfortunate equipment failure in their third race meant a 12th place in their class which was a real shame after such a glorious start when they were leading the entire fleet. Newcomers in Year 7, Joel Wells and Raph Ross, battled bravely through the fleet with a best finish in one race of 7th place.

The boys demonstrated excellent seamanship, sportsmanship and gained vastly in experience. Well done to the Framlingham Prep Sailing Team!
