While it is always uncomfortable commenting on the results of a whole year group as each individual student will have their own reflections on their performance, as a school we were very pleased indeed with the overall GCSE results this year. A number of pupils performed above expectations and both students and staff can be very proud of their efforts.

This year, of course, saw the first year of the new grading system and demanding new syllabuses in English Language and Literature (please also note that as we do IGCSE – rather than GCSE – for Maths, these remain under the old grading system), and we are delighted to report on a very strong set of English results in both disciplines.

As ever, a full statistical breakdown of results (for this and previous years) will be available on this website once results are complete.
