Eight of our pupils recently attended a Mini Tennis Red Tournament held at Easton Tennis Centre near Norwich.
The teams were split into 3 groups, according to ratings, with 8 teams in each league. Our A team (Toby Blunden, Miles Aldous, Callum Ventham and Evie Tassell) won gold in League 2 and our B team (Nicholas Urquatt-Pearce, Mia Spall, Mia North and Oliver Russell) won silver in League 3. Well done to all of our young players, many of whom were competing in their first tennis tournament.
Well done too to Evie Tassell who has been selected to play for the Suffolk Girls U8 team, a year young, in the East Region Inter County event in April.
