We are delighted with the examination successes of our Year 13 pupils. Many congratulations to all of them who deserve their success and who are now looking forward to the next phase of their education. Many of our pupils will be taking up their university places in October, be that in the UK or overseas. The range of subjects being studied at undergraduate level by our leavers is impressive, from Medicine to Drama, Psychology to Product Design, Sociology to Law. Others are pursuing apprenticeship opportunities, some are looking to start their own businesses and others are off on gap years. Wherever they go, our leavers take with them the spirit of enquiry and love of learning that permeates the corridors of Framlingham College. We wish them all well.

In particular, congratulations go to Zaylie Mills who achieved an outstanding A*A*A*A and goes onto study Medicine at Birmingham. Rose Winter (A*AA) goes to Stanford, USA on a full Sports Scholarship, Amelia Schroeter (A*AA) will be applying to Cambridge to study English in 2020. Josephine Hearn, Martha Lawrence and Oliver Scovell all gained AAA and will go on to study Geography at Newcastle, Sports Science at Nottingham and Geography at Bristol. We know that these successes will act as inspiration for forthcoming Year 13s as they embark in their final year at the College.

Our GCSE results hold much promise for the future with some excellent grades. A good number of 8s and 9s were scored. A particular mention must go to Niall Pearson-Shaul who achieved four 9s and five 8s, Tallulah Torrance whose three 9s and three 8s were also most impressive and Lucas Walker also achieved highly with three 9s and two 8s. A good number of our pupils achieved 7s and 6s but we are proud of every one of our pupils: behind many of our individual sets of results lies a story of determination, focus and hard work. A fine example to set our younger pupils and a great foundation upon which to build as our pupils return to embrace the challenges of Sixth Form study.
