Both the Lower and Upper Sixth English societies have now met this half term. The Lower Sixth have begun their chronological journey with a look at Old English and Middle English – congratulations to Josh Butler and Rhys Pearson-Shaul who produced the best Chaucer translation of the evening.

The Upper Sixth enjoyed a seminar-style working lunch on the topic of ‘Modernism and its impact’ and will, after half term, be pondering genre in the 21st Century.
