Those who have peered over or around the old wall by the tennis courts will have seen the new Early Years building really taking shape.

We are on schedule for completion towards the latter end of the Spring Term so that we can get it all ready for children at the start of the Summer Term 2019. Externally the blockwork and roofing is complete, windows and door installed and the first of the timber cladding is now being fitted.  Meanwhile inside we will shortly see the completion of the first fix of electrics and plumbing and the plasterboard is already being added to the blockwork walls.  We have enjoyed choosing colours for the internal finishes to create a fun and calm environment and all of us are amazed by the huge classroom spaces and the flexibility with the bifold doors. With easy access to the outside area and beyond into the countryside it will truly be a spectacular and inspiring place to learn and enjoy.

Our children and staff have grown used to having the friendly members of the SEH French contractors on site and overall the ongoing works have not been too disruptive for anyone. The site manager has been pleased to host the Nursery class on site and appreciates the interest and input from our budding engineers of the future.

We now look forward to the next phases of the project as the new building really comes to life as a valuable teaching space and an attractive addition to the remarkable campus we already enjoy.
