This week the Drone Flying Club members benefited from the warmer weather and recorded some spectacular footage of the college at sunset and night time.

Victor Yu took advantage of his DJI Mavic Pro drone features to offer a new perspective of the college campus. We also battled strong winds later on to test our new additions to the Drone Club’s fleet and ended up with some adrenaline rush caused by unexpected fly-outs. Nevertheless, our team is well prepared to take on the technical challenges involved by the inevitable repairs that need to be done. If passion is involved, the solution becomes clear and readily available.

We continue our Drone Flying Club sessions this term every Thursday from 4.00 to 5.00 pm and, in addition to flying, testing, assembling and maintaining our drones, we have added an element of drone racing, thanks to Jack Nicholson. We are still accepting new members provided that they are enthusiastic about flying.
