Work is starting later this month on a new Early Years Building at Framlingham College Prep School located at the stunning Brandeston Hall on the River Deben. The Headmaster, Matt King, made this exciting announcement and showed the first new images at the end of term Speech Day:

“To accommodate the sustained increase in numbers we are delighted to be constructing a new Early Years building and are pleased to be working with local contractors SEH French on this spectacular new project.”

– Matthew King, Headmaster, Framlingham College Prep School

Based in Ipswich, SEH French are an experienced construction company with a wealth of expertise delivering high quality commercial buildings, and previously built the senior school’s impressive Sixth Form Centre in 2014.

Classrooms for Nursery and Reception classes in the new building will have floor to ceiling glass. They will look out onto the outside play area with spectacular southerly views of the school’s playing fields leading to the river, and beyond into the Suffolk countryside. The building has been designed by Concertus Design & Property Consultants, who specialise in the education sector, and will be a single storey block work construction with glass and timber elevations, a design that the school is confident will stand the test of time and provide a comfortable, safe and attractive learning environment for its youngest children.

The project is scheduled to be completed in early 2019 ready for occupation for the Summer Term.
