Congratulations to the Framlingham College Equestrian Team for their excellent performances at the National Schools’ Cortaflex County Championships at Bury Farm this weekend. Only individual and team winners from each county qualified for these Championships.

In the Dressage, Kelsey Love came 10th as an individual on Havana de Tyv with a score of 70% out of 34 competitors.

The 95cm Show Jumping Team of Emily Lewis, Lucy Carter, Jas Slater and Dulcie Wade achieved an outstanding 5th place out of 28 teams after 2 rounds of jumping, finishing as the second fastest team on 4 faults (one fence down). This is a wonderful achievement in a National Competition with special thanks to all the parents who made this possible.

Framlingham College Director of Sport, Simon Sinclair said, “We are absolutely delighted with the girls. There is a huge amount of time and effort that goes into this sport and we must also thank the parents who transport the girls and horses to these events. They are all very dedicated and passionate about riding and this is a sport which is growing in popularity with our pupils.”
