This year’s Autumn Concert was a spectacle of musical style and courage, with a fabulous array of performances form all College ensembles.

Truly a celebration of teamwork and commitment, the standard of performance from both instrumental and vocal groups was high. Our main choir ‘Cantus’ was both impressive in size and musicianship, and was balanced by the detail and colour in Cappella Lumina’s performances of Muusika and This Old Hammer. Cambiata choir sang with energy and focus, bringing a tear to the eye with ‘My love is like a Red, Red Rose’.

Big Band had everyone’s toes tapping with particularly fabulous improvisations in Pink Panther, and both orchestra and concert band mastered technically challenging pieces with a notable attention to balance and detail throughout. Mention must also go to the fantastic Ukulele group, and Topstix, our percussion ensemble, for confident and musical performances. Bravo to everyone involved!
