The Framlingham College Charity Committee presented a donation of £721.85 to ‘Guide Dogs for the Blind’ charity this week in support of all the amazing work they do in our community and beyond. Archie Winter proposed the charity as the College’s Charity of the Term in support of members of our own community who have benefited from ‘Guide Dogs’ and the service they offer.

In the chapel service, Sylvia Hawes, a Guide Dogs volunteer accepted the cheque and spoke movingly of her own links with the charity. It was however, her beautiful and charming dog – Yara that stole the show and added that extra warmth to the service.
