On Sunday, 7th and Monday, 8th May the Army and RAF ventured to RAF Barnham for a joint battle exercise. A flamboyant RAF enemy section, freed from the shackles of the RAF Syllabus, styled themselves on characters from ‘Charlies’ Angels ‘ and provided a constant moving target for the Army cadets to engage, from their platoon harbour.

Skirmishes were frequent, but well practiced ambushing skills eventually quelled the enemy in the end and resulted, for those cadets who attended, in the successful completion pass of their Army Proficiency Awards and places on the JNCO Cadre course next year.
