On Monday 13th January the Business and Economics department held a highly informative evening based on the theme of Globalisation.
Two of Framlingham College’s parent body gave up their time to come in and kindly speak to the pupils. Mrs Cecilia Pryce spoke about her experiences in commodity training and pupils were able to apply economic concepts of supply and demand to the magnitude of variables which Mrs Pryce has to analyse every day. Mrs Lesley Abery then gave a very interesting insight into a case study into BT and their expansion into overseas markets.
Thank you to both parents for two excellent talks which put the theories we have been studying into context.
