On the 18th September about seventy Year 10 pupils embarked upon their Bronze Assessed DofE Expedition in the harvested, Suffolk countryside.

The weather was kind and morale was high and it was clear that the expeditioners had learned a lot from their practice walks. Challenges included discovering obscured footpaths, coping with boot clinging clay soil and avoiding crane fly infestations, but thankfully they triumphed and are now looking forward to Silver. This was Mr Carl’s first trip in charge of Bronze and well done to him too.
