On the afternoon of Tuesday the 26th of June, a very special staff football match kicked off. With staff waddling around in flippers and wearing rubber rings, suits and onesies, this inaugural Agents for Change event was always going to be fun.

Not only was it a great game, featuring superb goalkeeping, penalty controversy and a last gasp winner, but the event raised more than expected – sales of hot dogs, costumes, drinks cans, raffle tickets and water pistols amounted to around £700. The money is set to help buy kit for a budding African football club for children – the African Brothers Football Academy – which one AFC member recently visited. The money will also be used to help a non-profit animal protection organisation, World Animal Protection.

What a great occasion for both students and teachers!
