Former pupil of Framlingham College, Christina Johnston, has announced, to her growing social media audience, that she features on the soundtrack to ‘Wonder Woman 1984’, a recently released sequel to the 2017 smash hit, ‘Wonder Woman’.

Christina Johnston is a leading coloratura soprano opera singer and was born and educated here in Framlingham. Having previously sung for the Queen and other world leaders, she has made her Hollywood debut with her contribution to this Gal Gadot film.

Christina features in a piece called Vio Che Sapete, which is from Mozart’s ‘The Marriage of Figaro’. The song is a collaboration between Christina and colleagues from the band Hybrid who are regular contributors to the film industry.

She told the East Anglian Daily Times: “My dream has always been to go to Hollywood.”

And it seems Christina has her heart set on following up on this glittering Hollywood debut.

She added: “I love acting, I have always thought of myself as a singing actress.”
