England Hockey has confirmed this week that the Investec Girls and Notts Sport Boys Schools’ U18 Tier 1 Championships Finals will sadly not be played and the titles will be shared by the finalists.

The Framlingham College 1st XI girls had an excellent run all the way to the final remaining unbeaten in their quest to be crowned the best team in the country. They were due to play Repton School in the final on Thursday 19th March at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, the event was postponed and has now been confirmed as “unplayed.”

The squad, coaches and avid supporters are extremely disappointed that the final will not be contested in what would have been a nail-biting match but are immensely proud of this achievement and the hard work it took to get there.
