Last Summer Year 9 Art Scholar Max Day entered three pieces in the National Open Art Children’s Competition.

All three of his submissions: “Mum & Dad’, “Self-Portrait” and “Ski Helmet” were shortlisted and duly selected for the NOA exhibition at the Oxmarket Gallery in Chichester, West Sussex.  This exhibition took place over the Christmas holidays and featured artwork from the top 100 children in the competition.

The National Open Art Children’s Competition, now in its 21st year, is open to children aged 14 and under and was set up to nurture and encourage children and young people of all ages and capabilities to engage in the arts.
