U11 IAPS Rugby Success

Thursday 16 Nov 2017

By: James Loveridge – Head of Junior Prep, FCPS

Last Wednesday Framlingham College Prep School’s U11A rugby team took part in the inaugural IAPs national rugby festival in Essex. Schools from as far afield as Lancashire, Surrey and Lincolnshire joined schools from across East Anglia to take part in a festival of two pools of 6. Framlingham College Prep started well with a win in their first match and then went on to win 4 out of 5 to finish joint top of their pool. The boys had victories over South Lee, Barnadiston Hall, Brentwood Prep School and Felsted. They then lost out to a strong Stamford side in the final play-off round.

Overall an excellent performance from our boys, with plenty of grit and desire to improve shown throughout the day. Well played them.
