Success at Young Art East Anglia

Wednesday 18 Mar 2020
This weekend, the Peter Pears Gallery hosted the annual Young Art East Anglia Exhibition now in its 18th year.
Young Art East Anglia is an art competition open to all Primary School children in Suffolk aged between 5 and 11.
Dozens of schools and an estimated 2500 pieces of artwork were submitted for the competition with 350 being chosen to be displayed.   Judged this year by Suffolk based artist Mimi Nicholson , the theme was “A Moment In Time”.  We were delighted that 12 of our pupils were chosen to display their artwork with Ruby P (Year 6) coming 2nd in the Year 5/6 category and Milo N and Theodor G being highly commended.
All profits from the exhibition goes to Cancer Research UK.

Congratulations to:

Year 5: Theodor G (Highly Commended), Sam J

Year 6: Ruby P (2nd Prize Winner), Milo N (Highly Commended), Matilda B, Grace G, Hattie R and Rosa S
