Simon Hart receives award for 25 Years’ service

Wednesday 4 Dec 2019

Simon Hart, our highly skilled carpenter and cabinet maker in the College Maintenance Team has completed 25 years’ employment with the school. A surprise breakfast was laid on in the College Dining Hall for Simon and his Maintenance colleagues at which Andrew Payn, the Operations Director, presented him with an award on behalf of Mrs Louise North who was away from school overseas.

Simon has been closely involved in numerous woodworking projects in both the Grade II Listed and more modern buildings at both of the schools and many pupils and staff have benefitted enormously from his hard-work, extraordinary skills and commitment over many years. He has also found time to drive the school minibus and will be known to many as the friendly and familiar face on the Ipswich route.

Thank you Simon for your commitment, professionalism and contribution over 25 years’ service at the College.
