IAPS East of England Championships

Our youngest athletes recently represented the school at the IAPS East of England Championships at the University of East Anglia in Norwich.

The boys and girls all performed very well in very wet conditions with numerous personal and season’s bests recorded.

At U10 level Artemis Wild and Totty Longe came 2nd and 3rd in the High Jump (both competing a year young). Felix Lagerberg came 3rd in the boys’ long jump and Joseph Slater and Beth Gardens came 3rd in the boys’ and girls’ 100m respectively.

At U11 level Freddie Lamprell and Anna Cogdell both came 3rd in the long jump with Freddie also picking up the bronze in the high jump. Our track athletes also came to the fore at U11 level with Alicia Pryce 100m and Nat  Salsby and Anna Cogdell 3rd in the boys’and girls’ 800m and the boys’ relay team coming an excellent second.

Well done to all of our athletes and thank you so much to all of our parents who came to support the boys and girls. It was hugely appreciated.
