Coinciding with the arrival of this most wonderful time of the year comes one of the more challenging experiences of the year – Christmas shopping. Parents all over the country will be trawling through countless web pages and aisles trying to unearth that rare gift for children which sparks their imaginations and is fun at the same time.

Framlingham College is here to help. We’ve asked the Heads of English at both the Prep School and the Senior School to give us their recommendations for brilliant books to give to children which will help to inspire them to dream big and lose themselves in new worlds of adventure.

With a good book you are never alone and that is an important feeling for children, especially at a time when we’re not allowed to all get together as we might normally.”

Take a look at our 12 Books of Christmas page for brilliant books for children of all ages, from Reception all the way up to Sixth Form. We will be releasing a new book each day, so keep an eye on the page to discover new literary gems which make perfect gift ideas for youngsters.
