Four Cross Country runners to face biggest challenge…

Thursday 16 Mar 2017

Four of our talented Cross Country runners will be facing their biggest challenge of the season on Saturday, as they represent Suffolk in the New Balance English Schools’ Cross Country Championships.

Lily Woodruff, Alex Lawrence and Mimi Salsby (pictured) will be joined by Polly Peate who is a late qualifier for the race. The event, which is being held at the Norwich Show Ground, is the culmination of a series of selection races which started at the Royal Hospital School in September and will feature runners from 45 counties.

Director of Sport, Nick Gandy, said, ‘ the pupils have been through a gruelling selection process to reach this stage and we are very proud of their achievements. I know that they will represent their home county with distinction.’
