Brandeston Memorial Service

Tuesday 13 Nov 2018
war memorial

On Sunday 11 November, a group of our academic scholars and their families were invited to the service of Remembrance at Brandeston Church. The pupils have been writing a new booklet for the village, as a memorial of the men on the Roll of Honour.

Each pupil researched the individual, to find out about their life in the village and their achievements during the Great War.

Polly Atkin read part of the Exhortation during the service and all pupils were invited to attend a special exhibition of their work afterwards. It was a very special morning, giving our pupils the chance to share their findings with local residents.
